Fall 2024 Schedules for Football, Golf, Marching Band, Soccer, and Volleyball. All schedules were made by Journalism Students Tori, Ethan, Liam, Cianna, Elizabeth, and Isabelle.
Students had class meetings today with Mr. Branham and Mr. Booth going over policies, procedures, and reminders with students in each grade level today. They also received forms to have signed by parents that need to be read, signed, and turned back in as soon as possible. We are also still issuing Chromebooks so students who have not turned in their Chromebook agreement form need to do as soon as possible.
We are excited to welcome Bobcat Nation back to school today! It is going to be a GREAT school year! Dismissal will be at 11:51.
OSHS Car Rider Information: Students will continue to be dropped off in the mornings and picked up in the afternoons in the back parking lot by the field house and then they need to walk up the sidewalk to the gym lobby. Students are considered tardy after 8:20 and need to be dropped off at the office.

Students that did not pick up their schedules today can pick up a paper copy in the gym in the morning starting at 7:45. Students should be able to see them on StudentVue in the morning as well.

Make plans to attend the OSA Open House next Thursday, August 8 from 4:30-6:30pm! We hope to see you there! We will also be joined by Southern Sips serving up some great snacks and sweet drinks so make plans to visit their food truck as well.
Attention Dual Enrollment Students: If you need help getting enrolled or registering for classes, this is a great event for you! Please talk to Mrs. Jones to make sure you qualify. 10th-12th grade students, you can pick your Chromebooks up today or tomorrow between 3pm and 6pm. Please bring a signed copy of the Chromebook User Agreement when you come to pick up your Chromebook. You can not obtain your Chromebook without it. You only need to print, sign, and turn in page 4 of the document available at this link: https://roanecountysdtn.sites.thrillshare.com/o/oshs/page/chromebook-agreement
You can also purchase Chromebook insurance for $20. If you cannot print the form, there are copies in the front office.
Students may also pick up a hard copy of their schedules on Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm or access them on Student Vue at that time.

Chromebook Distribution Dates for Returning OSHS Students will take place in the OSA Fab Lab for returning 10th, 11th, and 12th graders on July 29 from 3-6pm, and July 30 from 3-6pm. Dates for 9th grade distribution will be at a later date. Chromebook insurance may also be purchased for $20.
